I have been in art classes every summer since I was a small kid and still enjoy attending workshops.  Along with sketching and painting on trips, I enjoy weekly plein air painting with friends. 

I earned a B.A. in art at the University of California, Santa Barbara, spent a summer semester at the University of Guadalajara Art School, and taught in the art labs of Los Alamitos, California  schools.  

I have painted with artist friends in France and Italy and will be going again to France this  summer.  With continuing yearly visits to  San Carlos, Mexico, I am  filling many sketchbooks with painted studies and pen sketches with unlimited ideas for paintings to come. 

Painting is a lot of fun for me, and  I think that shows in my work.
